Hello! I’m Theo, 1/3 of the freeflow Content Creatures hailing from Cape Town. Singapore has been home to me for the past one year after marrying my Singaporean wife.

Over the last 12 years of my filmmaking journey, I’ve shot mainly documentaries and commercials, but none was as big as what we have here at freeflow in terms of the scale of the projects and the crew. Perhaps my most pivotal moment was sailing across six continents over 4 years on a cruise ship, documenting the various destinations as well as branding videos for the cruise. I spent two years thereafter filming a documentary for a South African winery which won the Coup de Coeur Trophy at Marseilles Film Festival 2019.

I was used to doing a one-man-show, from scriptwriting, directing, filming, to editing. You guys call it ‘pao ka liao’. Being part of the freeflow family certainly opened up my imagination as I gather different creative insights from fellow directors, producers and editors. My favourite part of freeflow by far would have to be the office space! It’s conducive and there is free flow of coffee! So yeah, working from home was quite tough for me.

Here’s one of my recent works for Health Promotion Board (HPB) to remind people to put their health first so they can be there for their loved ones. Time to go for your health screening!
